Alrighty guys, the moment you’ve all been waiting for (at least that’s what I tell myself 😉 )
I’ve gotten tons of emails about this one. Will I ever add a ‘girl Fancy Pants Man’ to the series. I always said that I would if it worked, I wouldn’t just add one for the sake of equality.

Here she is, Fancy Pants Man’s little sister, Cutie Pants Girl:
Fancy Pants Man isn’t very happy that his little sister will be tagging along in World 3, she tends to get into a lot of trouble.
At least he won’t have to deal with her constantly complaining that she hasn’t been in any video games like her older brother anymore!
Joining her will be her favorite pet (she’s got quite a few), Kitten Kabootle.
Don’t worry, though. Fancy Pants Man is still the main character in World 3!
But I can promise that she’ll be so much fun to play as, you might even be able to ignore the cuteness overload!
So I got a Wacom Cintiq today in preparation for World 3. 1 was done with a Graphire3, 2 with a Intuos3, so I figure now 3 has to be done with the beastly Cintiq.
Been churning through so much code lately for ME2D, had to do a nice little test animation. The pictures above where some of the first images that I drew with it, also.

This thing is amazing, by the way. Suddenly, all the animation I want to do for World 3 isn’t looking so mind boggling anymore.

Hey man, I know the feeling. Adding the girl to the mix usually ends in tears, and if it were me reading, I would be epic facepalming as well.
Trust me on this one. I wouldn’t throw her in there unless I could make the idea awesome. And I have some concept art that I might post sometime soon that should prove that I haven’t lost it 😉

No, I just don’t control info on that one, that’s mainly TommyLM’s baby. He’s yelling at me to get back to it again, I’ve just been having some problems with network bugs on Mirror’s Edge. I’ll probably be working on both of those at the same time, though.
If all goes well, though, you’ll see more on FR really soon.

I was almost actually disappointed when you were talking about adding a girl to FPA just there (I assumed girlfriend) because it just seemed so cliché. But the sister idea is just brilliant.

I really hate her name to be honest, it’s not the ‘cutie’ bit, it’s just that ‘Cutie Pants Girl’ really doesn’t roll off the tongue or have the same effect as Fancy Pants Man. Otherwise it’s a great idea provided you pull it off right 😛

@Niall: Yea it just doesn’t seem as fluent compared to FPM, but since FPA3 is very much still in the development stage so anything could be subject to change. But I personally can’t think of a better name; but I’m not particularly creative in the first place. 😛
Call of Duty 6: Modernest Warfare! It doesn’t get any better then that. But nah, it’s just Modern Warfare 2. They’ve dropped the “Call of Duty” bit.
I hate those teaser trailers too, especially ‘cos they show nothing. They just reiterate the fact that the game is being made – which we knew already!

Wow, it’s a monitor and drawing tablet combined!Now that’s convenient and you can sell your previous monitor… That changes the case a little, but it’s still way too expensive for me.
Also, sorry for 3 post combo. Can you fuse posts toghether?
Check eBay. It’s about $1000 cheaper there.

But remember, when you getting paid relies heavily on how quickly you can draw and animate, 2k’s not all that much…
There’s also a smaller version (cintiq 12wx) which is only 1000. That’s still a bit expensive though.
As long as Brad thinks he needs it, and it speeds up the development of FPA3 I’m all for it.
