How exactly do you do the little “run a few more steps up the wall thing”? I only seem to be able to do it occasionally.
I broke it when I kicked the snail shell away in the underground bit. I went back to one of the houses and the side didn’t fade away as it should have. Also, despite being offscreen, the snailshell bounce soundclip was still playing.
For the bonus scoring level, maybe display some kind of message when you hit the target? One minute I was bouncing around and watching my moves being logged, and then the screen went blank. I went back to the door and the tick informed me that I’d completed the room. I had no idea.

I’ve went onto the fancypantsadventures site on Mozilla firefox instead of google chrome, it’s letting me click on it, but after I sign in and click play the game, it just goes blank, and nothing happens, it’s like there’s a big white box and it doesn’t say if it’s loading or anything, but I’ve been waiting for quite a while for something to happen. Howe long are you supposed to wait?

@smileylover It doesn’t work on google chrome at all, but It works on Mozilla firefox except that it’s ridiculously slow, Fancy Pants is in slow motion and it’s annoyingly impossible to play with the way he is running. I wish Brad would have a solution to this, because I would love to play this ….

When i was swimming in the cave, i swimm IN the wall, Fancy Pants disappeared and the ‘in-game Cam’ was going down to the bottom like Fancy Pants that fell off an edge.
Then, i heard that tune that you actually hear when you die.
And then i just respawned. Any idea what actually happened?

GLITCH: in the water level, if you are on the wall opposite the passageway, when you kick off of the wall and don’t touch any keys, you will land on the passageway wall. kick off of that and don’t press any keys. you will land on the floor but you will be floating!

Anyways, I loved all the new stuff. I loved those yellow squiggles.
I loved the mayor. I loved the new levels. I loved exploiting all the glitches.
BUT, I really disliked the wall-running mechanism. It’s fine when you’re starting from the ground, but jumping, stopping, THEN wall-running was driving me nuts. That little pause right when you hit the wall pressing up really ruined the flow.
I really enjoyed it other than that, and I was thrilled to be able to play a complete level using the W3 engine.

@klitmtkiller: i already found those squiggles a long time ago. it was funny how that person in the back was yelling there are four green squiggles!!! there are four green squiggles! lol.

@mrbajangles: that isnt a glitch. he lands on his back and gets hurt, but you dont lose life. its just part of the game. its also in world 2. and in this demo. not sure about World 1 though… 😛
well,brad,fortunately 1 of the “cheats”we found in the header,works in the sneak peek.the restart “r” button works!but pls brad,dont remove it,its funny!
oh, @Brad, maybe you want to check out the audio too, cuz when I jump on the springy things the sound is really terrible. (I only notice it now cuz I got new headphones for xmas)
WOW Brad. what’s behind the hidden door 0,o here I was, minding my own business, when suddenly FPM got this huge speed and raced up a building, and that’s when I saw the door :O
@ICARAX: You earn the pencil later on in the game, so it’s not in the demo. The combat’s pretty complicated, so I’ll probably go over it again before having anything playable, if I do, which wouldn’t be soon.
@MrBajangles: You mean landing on your head? Heh, yeah, that’s been in there since World 1.
@pompos2: Left that in on purpose, it was in ME2D for speed running, I’ll probably leave it in for challenges and stuff.
@ICARAX: I’ll take a look, any place in particular it does that at? I think it might be how the old animation worked, actually, since it’s missing, it just freezes you to the wall.
@Pandebus: The hills? Yeah, there’s a lot of doors like that later in the game, where you have to use your momentum to ramp off and get someplace hard to reach. It’s quite fun 🙂
And, you always get a boost when you land while pressing down…

I was just fiddling around and I found this! Not sure whether its a glitch or not buts its really fun just to mess around. All you have to do is tap the down arrow again and again on a slope. I took the vid on my ipod touch with one hand while i took the video so it kinda sucks qualitiy wise. You guys should try it! =b

@brad: I found a glitch!!!!! in squiggleville, if you stand next to the oil wall, which leads to the wall that say says that way, and you jump right next to it, but dont go slide, when you land, there is a oil puddle splash, yet there is no oil to make one on the ground! or is it just supposed to be oil coming off the wall when he jumps up and down… so is it a glitch, or is it supposed to happen….
