On a plane, last trip before launch, you know what that means!

So I’m at EA’s headquarters at the moment, talking about the future of FPA (daunting!). If anyone wants to pipe in about what other platforms FPA should hit (don’t lie, I know you all do!), now’s the best time to do it.

Yep, I’m in London right now, this is the last big push before launch! Getting the game in the hands of a lot of very awesome people, and the response has been even more incredible than before, I really don’t know what else to say.

We have one more day, then you should be getting a nice little flood of infos 😉

Then, well, you know what happens after that 😀

    Right now, I’m so happy that it feels like im gonna explode any second now, which is a bad thing, since I don’t want to explode before I have even tried the game 😛

    Ok I have finally calmed down… can’t wait to see the result of two years work with a new installemnt of fancy pants man 😀

    @Timothy vd Bosch: Soon, yes, but ‘soon’ is in industry terms definitely doesn’t mean, like, tomorrow.

    @FuzzyLogicBrain: You can still buy the game and play locally without a gold membership.

    @AJ32: Brad Borne cannot confirm or deny the existence of a native PC version :/

    @KCreator78: A few of those, you’ll have to wait until you play the game for, heh.

    @Brad Does that mean its coming out sooner than 04.04.11!!!??? BTW It will be 04.03.11 for u guys due to time zone changes lol (I think thats how u guys put ur dates with month first then day)

    @ Brad What do you mean – “a NATIVE pc version?” If there is going to be a PC version will it be available to people who don’t live in America?

    Is there a way to hook up like Xbox controllers to your laptop?

    @Brad I know I can play locally, since I can play TF2, but if a rural area had a rural area, then im in the rural are for that area! it’s a wonder how I get internet out here, but im moving now, so i might get some local players, but you need a city, and im not prepared for living in a city

    @Hams: Haha, no, that’s in like 4 days!

    @BE FANCY: Like, no in Flash. Same engine as the consoles running on the PC, online multiplayer and all that. The console’s being translated and released all over the world, I’d assume a PC release would be the same.

    And yeah, through the USB ports. If you have a Mac, download the driver from TattieBogle. If you have wireless controllers, there’s a USB wireless dongle.

    @FuzzyLogicBrain: FPA might require a pretty good internet connection to get all 4 players playing online, but I think you’ll be okay! I definitely don’t live in the city!

    @WeegeeWarrior: The 3DS is quite epic.

    @RockinPIXARdude: Sounds like a fun challenge to me 🙂

    @RockinPIXARDude, Mirrors Edge 2D is on the itouch (pc version of ME2D was made by brad borne) and the controls are as follows-
    Movement-Tilt the device
    Jump-Swipe up
    Slide-Swipe down
    And I cant remember the rest. But it is a similar game and it works fairly well, so it might work.

    these are the only two consoles I have(besides computer) so can you put it on ipod and wii

    It would be good if both could have the pencil cos i can’t wait to beat up those puny little spiders

    brad do you think that since your making fpa on console you wont continue making ones for the computer? after world 3’s released will you keep making like world 4 or will you just stick to making advanced fpa’s on console?

    the pencil combat came out i just tried it u have to go into the room where you get points and if u get 500k or more you get the pencil

    @ICARAX: This one guy at lunch made the cap of the salt shaker really loose so that if someone tried to use it, it would dump salt all over their food. Then later at lunch he fell for his own trick!
