Hey! I haven’t visited the forums in while, in fact not most of you know me anyway… I’ve only made 2 or 3 posts on this entire forum, if that. Anyway I’ve come back to see whether or not FPA has come out to the PC version, still waiting… but not angry meanwhile in the process of recollecting all these thoughts and reminiscing over the past few comments. I know its already come out to Xbox-360 and PS3 as I’ve heard and just want to know when it’ll come out for the PC, as we have waited a while… lol!

I myself find it strange, however few supporters for the PC on this forum like Pencilmaster and a few others, that people continually degrade the PC as if its not even a platform, I assure you (@Hams) that we will not get it for free, many PC Games that come out these days are still well and truly beyond $60, if your in fact talking about the flash version of course we’ll get that for free, as has been for the past fancy pants games on the internet…, but I and many others will pay for a PC game – of course he could release it for free if he wants… lol but I don’t expect him to because he went to a lot of hard effort to produce the game and just like console gamers I want to play it and I will pay for it, if need be. I do however, find it a bit offensive that someone says they payed $500 for a console? How much do computers cost these days, to maintain, buy decent cpu and power couplings, graphics cards… etc? I know for a fact that my PC is not a cheap port or gaming system in fact my whole gaming rig could well be over $5000, a console is a one-time purchase whereas a PC is a constant item that needs to be updated to keep up. If we a compare a PS3 or an Xbox you can expect them to run a game at 60 frames per second, a PC – more than 100 Frames. Most people will say PC’s are rubbish or bad compared to consoles, fair enough, but compare some of the top-of-the-line PC’s and there’s nothing there to compare. A console might have a resolution of 1200 x 860, a PC – 1900 x 1200. I hope people don’t forgot that PC’s were one of the earliest and still, today, best gaming systems ever made and can be the best if upgraded to the max…

Sorry for writing so much but just wanted to express how important PC’s are and how they *can* be better if proper care is spent on them. Spend an extra $500 on a PC instead of a console and you could wind up with a PC that could easily out-beast three PS3’s and two xbox-360’s combined… I’m not saying im rich, ive acumulated and saved my money over these years and spent all my money dedicated on a machine that I know is reliable and well worth it. I’m not saying that consoles are bad either, their a practical for a first time player and are cheap to just start playing but in the long run a PC is well worth it because of mods, downloads, custom tools, etc. Can you make a game like FPA on xbox? Probably not. Can you on PC, yes, using proper tools and equipment… FPA is a unique game in all aspects, from what I’ve heard and I only hope and wait that it comes to the PC platform where it belongs. Lastly, PC games are not usually released free, but it is a common stereotype among people to think so.

Mainly because people spend a lot of money, game companies want to show support and aknowledge the fact that the PC community is still a large and popular gaming force out there today, and is growing in fact, not declining, surprisingly… Games are released free because of the cost of the PC that it requires and to show dedicance to something. I myself have an Xbox-360-250 GB (got it for Christmas), but I hardly ever use it and play games on it. I might have only 3 games with it: Halo 3, project gotham racing and gears of war but I assure I started out with a PC and always will because my PC library has always been bigger than a console’s to begin with! Please don’t take any offence to console gamers, as I myself have one, but like I said don’t use it often, I would recommend to anyone and definetly prioritise to play all my games first or get them all on PC before anything else and that is why I want to get it on the PC, I could get it on the Xbox but i wouldn’t enjoy it as much, because I’m far more acustomed to a PC and more familiar with it. SO whether it be released for free on PC, or pay – it doesn’t matter to me or IMO the PC community. Release it on steam, or just retail copy, fine by me.

I hope people aknowledge this and learn why I want it so badly on PC. Again this is all my opinion… Oh and thanks Brad for a great game I hear and for making the dream of FPA true! It sounds good and I wish to get it as soon as it is released. Thanks to other pc-gamers on this forum too who share my viewpoint. Sorry again for writing so much 🙂 Bye.

^^^ Thanks I really wanted to establish what I felt and how PC is neglected these days. oh and something else I wanted to add. The beauty about the PC is it doesn’t require you to update, you can if you wish, but many games can be run even by the most simplest PC’s these days and with default recommended settings. So you could buy a very cheap PC (say less than a console) and still be able to play and run the same game as a console just with lower settings and minor adjustments, making it very efficient, dependable and adaptable. Meaning you can do almost all the stuff, the same as the console and not have to pay as much on a PC to run the programs, etc than a console. That’s what I think makes PC’s better these days, anyway, in my opinion. I’m not biased or anything as I have stated above I own an Xbox-360 as well but prefer to play most of my games on the PC, anyday, simply because thats how I feel and I like it that way. I also have a gameboy advance sp and a PSP, used to have an old playstation too.. but the first thing I’ve come across and always liked and stuck by is a PC. Again no offence to the console people, lol. Sure a console is expensive and granted a rather intelligent breed of electronic engineering but the PC these days, as it seems to me and to many, that it doesn’t get the same treatment as the consoles do, whether it be people think it’s extinct, or the online community is dead (> 3, 000, 000 people on steam PC every day) or that its not regarded as the console, is weird to me, but in all of this I will sit by the PC no matter what and I too love the Xbox_ console (I don’t know which is better a PS3 or an Xbox, so don’t ask me about the console war thing, the only reason I have an Xbox was and is in my opinion cheaper as a replacement for a back-up console, when if my PC goes down or I have nothing to play or do then I’ll go back to it and start using it again and playing. I hope you all see where I’m coming from and please don’t complain about my comments, I know their long I just hope people are able to read them all and not get bored! P.S. FPA is great; just saw some footage on youtube and looked up some reviews on the net, can’t wait until it comes on the PC platform and am so anxious right now.

I think people are misinterpreting me and other pc users. I mean FPA for PC, not the flash version: world 3 for PC!!! I’ll happily pay for a PC version that’s the same as a console just like the console people did… and @Hams, not picking at you here, or anything, how can you say you know what us PC people have been through, sure PSN was down for many people but you still get to play the game directly after it was brought up, and today, at current, on this present day ours has nor been yet to have been confirmed for PC release meaning, in the end, after all this waiting… we might not even get a PC version, just the flash version- world 3 for the internet. I would be greatly dissapointed if this were to be true, as PC versions are usually released the same time as the consoles for all major gaming companies.

Earlier in a post: Brad said- “to please not comment about the steam versions or Wii, we hear ya” – I wonder if this is true and PC will be relased eventually if not, pretty soon. I don’t think there is as much a greater demand for the left over people like PC users than, say, Wii and Nintendo DS users, but tell me if I’m wrong… In short I hope we do eventually get it because it seems like Brad has a lot of work to do counting that World 3 needs to be completed A.S.A.P. on the net, he might not even get around to a PC version – I understand if this is the case, but I thought a PC version to be made, is not awfully that hard most of the time, counting now that most modern day- games are simply console ports over to PC- would you just have to change the controls and that’s about it because the ideal PC version would just be copying the same thing on the consoles over to a different platform> ?

Anyway, I’m off, frustrated now and anxious to see when or will it be released. I’ve already looked at the reviews and gameplay vids, it looks pretty cool but I heard the difficulty level was too easy? Nah, doesn’t bother me in the end I just like running around and performing flips and tricks, etc. stuff like that; oh also I’m pretty bored don’t know what else to do rather than look at the same vids on FPA for the consoles all day, might start FP 1 and 2 again and try to get 100 % – not that hard actually, took me about an hour to beat both games combined to get 100 % together in both. Good to see, again, that I’m not the only one concerned with a PC version nor am the only one wanting it! Ok, bye.

Lol, I’ll try to keep this one short, since I’m too “constructive” and @ AJ32, I think that’s a bit offensive, considering that people who have time to go to this forum, play FPA and read my large ‘obscure’ comments “have too much time”…! ; but anyway, glad to see everyone agrees with me once again and that I’ve made myself clear. ONCE MORE I POST THAT I TOO AM WAITING INEVITABILY FOR THE PC GAME’S RELEASE AND HOPE ONCE MORE THAT IT IS SOONER. <<< Sorry for {caps} and I yearn to play FPA on my PC. Also that is one of the shortest comments I have ever written in my life 🙂
